Experience the Legendary Riojas of Contino with winemaker Jorge Navascués

We are delighted that Head winemaker Jorge Nevascues from Contino will be heading up this winemaking masterclass from one of Riojas top fine wine producers.

50 years ago Vinedos del Contino was established on the bank of the Ebro and became the first single estate winery in Rioja.

Today it has 62 ha of vineyards and prides itself on combining tradition with innovation with a modern state of the art winery and ancient 16th century cave cellars.

The estate only produce a small selection of wines including the highly prized Graciano and Vina del Olivo regarded as one of the best wines of modern Spain. In fact we are very lucky at this tasting to sample the 2011 vintage of Vino del Olivo.
