Mossburn Island Blended Malt is the result of skillful blending, bringing together various coastal Single Malt Scotch whiskies that epitomise the characteristics of Island whiskies

Initial maturation occurs in American Oak barrels before the whiskies are carefully blended. Subsequently, a second maturation takes place in custom-made Mossburn Casks, each tailored to their specifications. For the Island blend, second maturation takes place with first-fill Bourbon for a rich sweetness and heavily toasted European virgin oak adding a smokey spice finish.
