2017 Domaine Bernard Moreau 'Maltroire' 1er Cru Chassagne Montrachet

Domaine Bernard Moreau is an historic Burgundian estate based in Chassagne-Montrachet, and known for its opulent wines. La Maltroie is a Premier Cru vineyard within the appellation. Aromas of orchard fruit, white flowers with a hint of cinnamon. On the palate there is noticeable oak with vanilla notes. The intensity of fruit and the medium high acidity really works well. This is a very enjoyable wine but would benefit from a little extra aging.
