2008 Château Les Ormes-de-Pez Saint-Estephe

The Les Ormes de Pez has a vivacious bouquet with ripe blackberry, briary and cedar fruit - nicely defined and a little more exuberant that its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, a core of ripe blackberry and raspberry fruit laced with white pepper, leading to a nicely composed, slightly fleshy finish. Forward and alluring - this is a great Saint Estephe that should be afforded a decade in the cellar.
