One of Jura’s oldest and largest producers. The Savagnin grape (not to be confused with Sauvignon) is aged ‘sous voile’ (under flor yeast) for several years before release. 2011 was an abundant vintage of very good wines. It resembles a mini Vin Jaune. Golden in colour, with fresh, creamy, bready fruit and hazelnut notes. The palate is rich and textured and brimming with orchard fruit, porcini mushroom and savoury umami notes. Despite its amplitude, it leaves the mouth fresh and longing for more.
