Ardbeg has been distilled on Islay, part of the Inner Hebrides archipelago, for more than 200 years, Ardbeg is known as one of the peatiest and smokiest, yet most complex, of all the Islay single malt whiskies.
Uigeadail is Gaelic for “a dark, mysterious place.” and is named after the loch whose peat laden water is used for this whisky. Maturation takes place in ex-bourbon American oak and ex- Oloroso sherry casks .which impart rich, warm flavours that add to a palate of sweetness, spice and deep smokiness.
