Folli and Benato are two friends who met when working in England. They shared a passion for wine and in particular the region of Piedmonte. They have worked together for over 20 years and source and bottle wines which reflect the many different terrors of Piedmont's many terroirs and indigenous grape varieties.
Cortese grapes from vineyards in the commune are harvested mid September and fermented in stainless steel. The wine spends 3 months on its fine lees and 1-2 months in bottle
This elegant and fresh wine has concentrated aromas of white peach, pear and jasmine, that carry through on to a nicely balanced palate.
Would go well with grilled fresh water fish, risottos, chicken dishes and vegetable based dishes.
