2022 Domain Richaud Cairanne Rouge

From the different terroirs of the organic Cairnais vineyards of Marcel Richaud. His 2022 Cairanne is a blend of  Mourvèdre, Grenache, Syrah and Carignan. The cuvée is aged for 10 months: 10% in foudre, 30% in demi-muids and 60% in concrete vats.

The rich aroma of ripe red fruits, chocolate, and spices are prominent on both the nose and palate. The silky tannins create a smooth, full-bodied texture and the fruit is expressive, leading to a flavourful finish with hints of liquorice.
