2020 Turley 'Ueberroth' Zinfandel

One of the oldest of Turley’s Zinfandel vineyards. The ungrafted head trained vines are planted on very steep limestone slopes, so close to the Pacific Ocean you can smell it from the vineyard. The high pH of the soil makes for a very high-acid wine, elevating the ripe fruit flavours from this historic organic vineyard. 

Blue-fruited, noble, focused, racy, and classically textured, this Ueberroth is one for the ages. With copious dark fruits and piercing acidity, it’s ready to drink now but will age well thanks to the immense power & structure inherent to this wine.
