2020 Schubert 'S' Select Pinot Noir

Intense aromas of blackcurrant and cherry along with smole and tobacco notes. Aged in both old and new French oak barriques for 18 months, the wine is medium bodied with rich and elegant textures.

Schubert Wines is located within the Wairarapa Valley of Martinborough, the region is is cooler and drier than any other North Island wine region and is exposed to the cold winds funnelled in from the Southern Ocean.

Would go well with barbecued meats, spicy sausage and bean casserole, red onion tart and salad.
