The wine is blended from botrytis affected Muscadelle, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes grown on clay and limestone soil vineyards running along the southern hillsides of Dordogne Valley.
The result is a sweet, golden wine with notes of candied orange, honey, saffron, pineapple, mango and dried apricots all balanced by a zesty acidity leaving an elegant finish.
