Bottled at cask strength this single cask 10 year old Highland single malt whisky is from Blair Athol Distillery on the banks of the river Tummel in Highland Perthshire
This whisky has been aged in a barrel for over 10 years before being finished in Monbazillac casks, resulting in delightful notes of orange blossom, honey, parma violets, and vanilla fudge on the nose. The palate starts off bold and fruity, then develops hints of spice and creamy oak, with subtle undertones of oil and mixed spice and a touch of cotton candy. A light vinous edge adds depth to the overall flavour profile.
No colouring or chill filtration.
