What a cracking wine! Have to say we were blown away by this!
So an 'Orange Wine' made in Bordeaux, in Cérons, Graves, which is a region for making sweet wine. The Appellation rules do not permit a wine like this so it is classified as Vin de France. It is made from Sauvignon Blanc and given a 4 week fermentation.
For an Orange wine this is elegant and classy, yes its got the polish and nut aroma but a lovey fresh citrus peel character as well. Over the course of a few hours the wine opens up and more nutty depth appears and it gains a lovely creaminess.
If you like orange wines then you must give this a go...
