2017 Domaine François Lamarche Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 6 x 750ml (In Bond)

As you expect of Clos Vougeot, there is more muscular strength here than with the other Grands Crus but you still feel extreme precision and also the elegance and poise of the vintage. Vibrant in colour with an enticing nose of blueberries, wild strawberries and a hint of liquorice root and cedar from the oak. On the palate this is a rich, dense wine of ripe dark berry fruit with an earthy, mineral core and a fabulous finish.
