Brothers Hector and Pablo Durigutti 's first vineyards were in Mendoza but are champions of terroirs and grape varieties throughout the country. They are at the forefront of a evolutionary change in Argentina’s winemaking philosophy with emphasis on terroir and fresh, bright focused fruit wines. Their Projectas Las Compuertas vines are planted at 1,050m above sea level and farmed with organic practices.
This wine is born from an old vineyard on the estate, selected and replanted in high density, in sandy loam soils with deep boulders and fermented in cement eggs. Elegant and balanced.
