2021 Famille J M Cazes Domaine De L'Ostal Minervois Estibals

The Minervois Estibals is a blend of 60% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 20% Carignan. Deep red in colour with aromas of morello cherry, red fruit and the local garrigue. On the palate silky, pure and elegant with well marked tannins and a touch of oakiness. One third of the Syrah is aged in oak barrels from Lynch Bages for 12 months.

Domaine de L’Ostal boasts one of the finest terroirs of the Languedoc including a a spectacular parcel of Minervois La Livinière, which got its own AOC in 2020. Domaine de L'Ostal is owned by Jean-Michel Cazes, of Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac.
