2021 Domaine Le Portail Cour Cheverny

The Cadoux family acquired Domaine Le Portail, a former monastery, in 1979. The property is adjacent to the walls of the historic Château de Cheverny and is currently managed by Damien and his wife, Delphine.  Their wines are some of the best from the Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny appellations in the Loire. 

Their Cour-Cheverny is produced exclusively from the local Romorantin grape. It is fresh and clean with a hint of Sauvignon-like character in the resulting wine.
