A lovely juicy Grenache from Catalunya. Bodegas Puiggros use 80yr old native vines grown at altitudes of 650 metres above sea level. The wine is fermented in stainless steel then aged in clay amphora for 10 months, the pottery vessel allowing the tannins to soften without imparting flavour.
The wine is cherry red in colour. Aromas of dark red cherries and raspberries followed up by more intense cherry and red fruit flavours, soft tannins and notes of spice and pepper.
