A well crafted Rioja from the inimitable Bodegas Marqués de Riscal, their Crianza is produced from a selection of the Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes sourced from vineyards in Laguardia and Elciego. These grapes are harvested at the peak of ripeness and undergo natural processes of alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats, with precise temperature control throughout. Following fermentation, the wine is transferred to American oak barrels for an 18-month aging period, followed by additional maturation and refinement in the bottle.
This wine unfolds as fresh and fruity, with a delightful burst that evokes red-berried fruits with the subtle coconut and vanilla aromas imparted by the oak. Full-bodied and supple, it culminates in a prolonged finish.
