2018 Chateau Vray Croix de Gay

This tiny Pomerol property (3.66 hectares) was in 2018 under the same ownership as Chateau Latour. It is planted with predominately Merlot and Cabernet Franc. 

The wine is dark purple in colour with crushed cherries and bramble on the nose. The palate is vibrant and bright with juicy, fleshy fruit and soft tannins.  Subtle spices on the finish complement the red cherries and add a savoury character. 

Will work well with beef and venison.
