2006 Barbeito Verdelho Single Cask Madeira

A very special, single-vineyard AND Single Cask wine. The grapes come from a single vineyard on the North of the island, in Sao Vincente, which is key to this wine's acidity.

The wine has been aged using the canteiro method and bottled after 14 years ageing (June 2020). Only 761 bottles were produced from the single barrel. Very aromatic! Hints of candied fruit, anise, orange blossom and caramelized quince. Smooth structure with silky edges and a delicate flavor of sultanas and ripe yellow fruit.
