Regarded as one of Germany's very best producers, famous for the high quality of all their wines. Arguably the best vineyard in the Nahe, the grapes grow on a steep southern slope with very mineral-rich soils of black-grey slate and volcanic elements.
The wine is an astonishing! powerful and elegant at the same time. Lots of minerality and complexity. Can be drunk now but it will get so much better in time.
