2020 Boekenhoutskloof Semillon Franschhoek

Always a treat, this Semillon is one of the most respected in South Africa. Sourced from three sites in Franschhoek, planted in 1902, 1936 and 1942. Hints of smoke and spice wrap themselves around a deeply flavoured and mouth-watering palate of fresh white peach and nectarine with an attractive ripple of lemon zest. There is a splash of Muscat in the blend which does give the wine a little lift.
