Fordítás is a made using the traditional Tokaji winemaking method whereby pressed aszú paste (raisined grapes affected by noble rot) is re-macerated in fermented must. The 2016 Fordítás is made entirely from Furmint grapes, using the paste from 6 Puttonyos Aszú. After re-pressing and completing fermentation, the wine is matured for over two years in 500-liter Hungarian oak barrels stored in Royal Tokaji's deep underground cellars.
