Mossburn Speyside Blended Malt is the result of skillful blending, bringing together various Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskies that underwent a secondary maturation in Mossburn Cask Bill #2. These unique casks, crafted with Oloroso Sherry Butts and featuring heavily charred virgin American Oak heads, contribute to the whisky's enhanced richness, depth and enticing spicy vanilla notes.
The Mossburn Signature Casks collection epitomizes the distinctive characteristics of Scotland's regional malts. These whiskies serve as classic representations of their origin, with an added dimension from our signature casks — meticulously designed to accentuate the desired traits in each exceptional malt.
Initial maturation occurs in American Oak barrels before the whiskies are carefully blended. Subsequently, a second maturation takes place in our custom-made Mossburn Casks, each tailored to our specifications or Cask Bill. For the Speyside expression, Cask Bill #2 imparts its own unique influence, ensuring a whisky that stands out with individuality and character.
