Montanaro's white vermouth follows their traditional recipe which uses sweet and bitter orange instead of lemon or other citrus botanicals to give a softer sweeter taste. There are notes of Aloe and Myrrh and Licorice that balance with the herbaceous-bitter notes given by botanicals such as Rhubarb and Gentian. In combination with Absinthe, ‘Achillea Moscata’ cleanses the palate and creates an interesting contrast between sour and sweet.
