Finca Museum, situated in the small DO of Cigales in Castilla y León, east of Valladolid, is renowned for its Tinta del País, a thick-skinned version of the Tempranillo grape. The winery, doubling as a museum showcasing 17th century artwork, meticulously crafts its wines due to the challenging continental climate and rocky soil of the region. The expansive 185-hectare vineyards, which include aged bush vines up to 800m above sea level, yield grapes with rich color and concentration.
In 2023, Finca Museum became the first and only winery to attain the Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection certification.
Aged for 15 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels, the 'Vinea' Crianza boasts a fruity profile with undertones of vanilla and mocha.
