2020 Contino Blanco

50 years ago Vinedos del Contino was established on the bank of the Ebro and became the first single estate winery in Rioja. Today it has  62 ha of vineyards and  prides itself on combining tradition with innovation with a modern state of the art winery and ancient 16th century cave cellars. 

This is an elegant, complex white made with Viura and Garnacha Blanca grapes from 40 year old vines on the estate. It has enticing floral, citrus and toasted nut aromas. Very good acidity and a delicate mouth feel. Fruity finish with persistent freshness.
