Reposado undergoes a dual distillation process and is fermented in open-air tanks surrounded by the aromatic presence of citrus trees. It leisurely matures for three months in French oak barrels, the very ones previously employed for aging Napa Valley Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. This meticulous aging imparts an exceptionally smooth flavour to the tequila.
The aromatic introduction reveals notes of cooked agave, ripe banana, apple, chocolate and cappuccino, intertwined with hints of vanilla, cinnamon, pumpkin and clove. The palate unfolds with flavours of honey maple, peaches and cream, white chocolate and a subtle undercurrent of minerality, leading to a finish characterised by pepper and toasted oak.
