Bodegas Itsas Mendi is situated in the Basque Country, where mountain slopes (Mendi) meet the Cantabrian Sea (Itsas). Nestled in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, this winery is dedicated preserving the history and viticulture of the native Hondarrabi Zurio grape.
Fresh and well-balanced Itsas Mendi Txakoli is a blend of Hondarrabi zuri and Hondarrabi zuri zerratie grapes. Aromas of white fruit such as pear, citrus and flowers are noticeable , accompanied by fresh balsamic notes The palate is well balanced and delicate with a lingering saline finish. .
