Oldenburg Vineyards offers three distinct ranges: the prestigious Rondekop line, epitomizing the property's terroir; the Oldenburg Vineyards series, showcasing exceptional single varietals; and the CL range, named for its cooler microclimate compared to that of Stellenbosch, offering an accessible priced wine of exceptional quality.
Oldenburg Vineyards signature wines use single varietals with the aim to showcase their exceptional terroir with minimal intervention. Hand-sorted grapes ensure only the finest fruit is used. A delicate touch is used during fermentation to avoid over-extraction. The wine matures for 18 months in a combination of new and old French oak barrels.
The result is a focused and pure Cabernet Franc reminiscent of the Loire Valley. Concentrated with minerality and acidity, it features red and dark berries, green herbs, tea leaf, and rose petal notes. Enjoyable now and designed to age gracefully.
