The Sella family bought the estate back to 1671. Over the centuries they cultivated their vineyards and honed their winemaking skills, establishing themselves as one of the most respected producers in the region. Tenute Sella are based up in the Upper Piedmont. Tenute Sella's vineyards are nestled in the Lessona DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata) in Piedmont, an area renowned for its distinctive terroir.
