Produttori del Barbaresco in Piemonte is widely regarded as one of the greatest wine cooperatives in the world. There are over 50 member growers with a combined total of around 100 hectares of vineyards.
Their Nebbiolo from Langhe is overflowing with intense red fruit aromas on both the nose and palate. There are hints of white pepper and aniseed, complemented by bright tannins and a fresh acidity.
It is a delightful pairing with antipasti dishes of cured meats and chargrilled vegetables and works equally well with red meat, poultry and will even pair with lightly-spiced pasta dishes.
