The Barolo, crafted by the brilliant Aldo Vajra, is a delightful wine distinguished by pristine flavour and well-defined perfume. These characteristics stem from the vineyards' elevation of about 400 meters above sea level in the village of Vergne within the Barolo commune
Ravera is an organic cru vineyard running north to south across the communes of Barolo and Novello. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes a 30-month aging process in large Slavonian oak.
The 2018 Barolo Ravera is a vibrant fragrant wine that promises evolution over time. There are generous aromas of cherry, rose petals, and raspberry, intertwined with hints of orange peel, cedar, and herbal nuances such as mint, lavender, and thyme. On the palate, ripe flavours of cassis and blackberries persist, with fine tannins and balance leading to a layered and complex finish.
For optimal enjoyment, if drinking now, we recommend giving it a couple of hours in a decanter to allow it to open up.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
