Kaikenes, the wild geese native to Patagonia, embark on journeys across the Andes, soaring between Chile and Argentina. Much like these legendary birds, esteemed Chilean winemaker Aurelio Montes undertook the crossing of the Andes to craft wines in Mendoza. Recognizing the immense potential of the region for premium viticulture, Aurelio founded the Kaiken winery in 2002 after numerous exploratory trips.
The Terroir Series highlights the finest qualities of each grape variety from specific regions. The Torrontés, sourced from Salta in the Cafayete valley in the northern part of Argentina, is renowned for producing the country's best examples of this variety and is characterized by its brightness, freshness, and alluring perfume.
