2015 Ontañón Reserva Rioja

Bold and complex and bursting with layers of flavours. It starts with rich, compote and candied fruit notes, complemented by hints of dried apricot and a mineral, truffle-like earthiness. The inclusion of Graciano grapes adds a balsamic touch, while notes of tobacco, smoke, clove, pepper, vanilla, coconut, and chocolate contribute to its depth. It has a luxurious, balanced mouthfeel, with silky, well-integrated tannins. On the palate, ripe fruit re-emerges, and its finish is refined and delicate.
