High quality Burgundy producer with a reputation for high vine ages, which are maintained through methodical replanting. The average age is more than 50 years, with several vineyard plantings dating back to 1920. The domaine has roughly 10 hectares (24 acres) of vineyards with plots in four villages and in 15 different designated sites. This wine has immense power for a village level wine so young and offers excellent value for money. Cranberry, strawberry, blackberry, spice and floral notes on the nose carry through to the palate. The acidity, tannin, length and balance indicate it will easily keep for a decade.
