The Lyrarakis estate has spearheaded the explosion of interest in top Greek wines in the UK in recent years. Established on the island of Crete in 1966, the Lyrarakis family has devoted itself to the revival of indigenous, almost extinct, rare grape varieties such as Liatiko, Dafni, Plyto, Melissaki and others, vinifying wines that highlight their unique and distinctive character.
The wine from Assyrtiko Voila vineyard has complex aromas of citrus and white fleshed aromatic fruit with herbal and chalky notes. Rich and crisp with a salty freshness and long mineral finish.
