Comte Armand are considered a reference point in Burgundy. The domaine is run organically. Lots of earthy forest floor, red cherries and a hint of oak on the nose. The palate had loads of depth, red cherries, smooth tannins, a rich softness, extremely well balanced and a glorious finish. Just started in its drinking window and this has a number of years ahead to get even better.
