2021 Virgen de Galir Regueiron Godello

Virgen del Galir was founded in 2002 and is located in Éntoma, a small village in the Val do Galir in Ourense, Galicia. It aims to build the reputation for Godello and Menica in the premium Valdeorras appellation.

Regueirón is as a sizable vineyard in Entoma renowned for its exceptional quality and characterized by terraced vineyards. Its slate and clay soils produce mature and concentrated wines. Because of its southerly location it experiences an earlier ripening process, yet maintains a distinctive Atlantic character, that gives complexity and freshness and a notable acidity.

The wine boasts intense aromas of mature white fruit and a distinct mineral character. Balanced and silky on the palate, with a fresh and persistent finish.
