£74.99
The grape are hand harvested from the "tête de clos", "petit clos" and "fairande" the soils are quite chalky which can turn a little more to clay lower down the plots. The vine are around 40 years old.
The wine show lots of class and loads of minerality but with great depth of fruit. While its approachable now it will get better over the next 5 to 10 years.
Chassagne Montrachet food pairing - This will go well with classics like poultry, veal, pork, fish in white wine and more decadent things like lobster and crab bellows, a nice Chardonnay like this would also go well with cheese's Comté and Beaufort.
