2020 Château Capion Le Chemin Des Garennes Blanc

Significant investment has gone into Chateau Capion, and the results are noticeable. This is a delicious blend of Rousanne and Bourboulenc. A pale golden yellow in colour, the wine displays aromas of mandarin, white peach and lemon zest with notes of fennel, white flowers and wet stone. Barrel ageing lends the wine weight on the palate which is balanced by a refreshing acidity. Ripe stone fruit predominates in the mouth, with a touch of oak spice and a lingering minerality. Pair with rich fish, white meat or creamy pasta dishes.
