2019 Chateau Tournefeuille La Cure Lalande De Pomerol

The La Cure plot faces Pomerol and shares its famous terroirs of clay soils covered by gravel. The wine is a blend pf 83% Merlot and 17% Cabernet Franc from vines between 30 and 50 years old. The wine is matured for 14 - 16 months in new fine grained oak barrels.

The finished wine is full of aromas of fresh plums, dried prunes and sweet oak. On the palate it is has pronounced and complex layers of dark fruit, leather, dried meats, and sweet spice. Good acidity and fine tannins gives a superb mouthfeel that spills over into a long, smooth finish.
