La Grande Dame is a tribute to Madame Clicquout who believed that Pinot Noir had the broadest range of expression and potential to create the best champagne.
It is a blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay and is made up of a blend of grapes from some of Champagne's most prestigious grands crus vineyards, including Aÿ, Verzenary, Verzy, Ambonnay and Bouzy.
La Grande Dame 2012is direct, refined and balanced. Fresh aromas such as acacia, citrus zest, flint and redcurrant mark this wine that is definitively of its terroir.
