The 2012 vintage combines intensity, contained tautness and contradictions, The nose is full and varied, mingling white flowers and apricot, with the freshness of rhubarb and mint and the minerality of ash. The palate is bursting with effervescent energy but stays focused with balancing acidic notes. The finish brings a penetrating tautness marked by ginger, tobacco and toasted accents.
