We are very pleased to welcome Jane Sowter and Chateau Musar back to Harrogate. It was perhaps 2004 that Jane last did a tasting for us! So very much long overdue.

Of course, Chateau Musar needs little introduction and Harrogate has flown this flag longer and higher than most. Older customers will remember the wall of Musar we had under the stewardship of Phil Ball and that love has carried on to today. Chateau Musar is clearly an iconic wine, perhaps one of the world’s most!. That said it’s also perhaps the most misunderstood with so much misinformation out there.

Jane Sowter took over Chateau Musar UK in the late 80’s and has a lot to do with not only Chateau Musars popularity in the UK but also internationally. So we are really pleased for her to be able to share her vast knowledge and taste some extraordinary wines.

The tasting will follow a similar format to recent events, an aperitif on arrival and then a tutored tasting of six wines. We will then bring out some food and enjoy Magnums of Musar and relaxed chat!
