2017 Domaine Stéphane Magnien 'Les Faconnieres' 1er Cru Morey Saint Denis 6 x 750ml (In Bond)
Proprietor Stéphane Magnien entered into the family business in 2002 after inheriting a winemaking legacy going back four generations to his ancestor, Victor Magnien, in the early 20th Century. The domain is proud to say that the four generations have not used herbicides or pesticides and have ploughed by horse and tractor to preserve the microbial life of the soil and force the vine's roots to descend more deeply, pulling great typicity from the terroir. Les Faconnieres is a Premier Cru climat of the Morey-Saint-Denis appellation in the Cote de Nuits. The 2017 vintage is a very beautiful classic vintage, there is an indulgence of beautiful ripe red fruits, enhanced with a touch of acidity. Well balanced and elegant structure. Very polished, long finish.
