The Pieropan family have been producing white wine since the 1890's in the Soave Classico region of the Veneto.
Grapes are hand-picked, selected for ripeness and health, then naturally dried for 5 months on bamboo mats to allow the grapes to dehydrate and concentrate flavours. The wine is matured in in oak casks for 2 years before a further 6 month bottle aging
Recioto di Soave is a deep golden colour and has fragrant notes of dried apricot and lightly toasted almonds. The palate is well balanced with a subtle sweetness complemented by a lively acidity. On the palate there are rich baked stone fruit flavours, leading to a long, perfumed finish.
