2017 Domaine François Lamarche Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits

The Lamarche family can trace its ancestry of working in Vosne-Romanée vineyards back to the 18th Century. François Lamarche inherited the domaine in 1985 from his father. His two daughters have run the estate since his tragic death in 2013, but the wines continue to bear his name. This wine has a nose of bright red cherry fruit and walnut with a very delicate earthy and mineral character on the palate, the tannins are well integrated and it has an extraordinary finish.
